Phillips releases RAS800 Rugged Avionics Server
INDUSTRY, California (June 29, 2009) Phillips Aerospace has released the RAS800 Rugged Avionics Server. Designed to military standards, the RAS800 is suitable for extreme temperature, shock, vibration and humidity conditions. The RAS800 is ideal for flight hardware, ground mobile, UAV, UGV and UUV applications.
Using a CompactPCI backplane, the RAS800 combines an Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor with the Alta Data PMC-MA4 Multi-Channel, Multi-Protocol 1553 & ARINC Avionics PMC Interface card. The RAS800 provides a wide range of Avionics I/O. The team at Phillips Aerospace works with customers to understand and configure the RAS800 solution to be application ready and compliant. The RAS800 is delivered integrated and configured as a turn key solution.
