Phillips releases SLiC™ Scalable Lithium Core Module
INDUSTRY, California (July 16, 2009) Phillips Aerospace has released the SLiC™ Scalable Lithium Core Module. Packaged in an aircraft grade aluminum case, the UN/DOT certified, RoHS compliant SLiC is suitable for ground, mobile and military aircraft applications. The SLiC is rated at 1,800 100% DOD cycles achieve high life cycle value and its -20°C to +60°C operating temperature range allows application in extreme environmental conditions. The SLiC SMP-36C model provides 33Ah at 22.8V in a 156 in3 volume and weighs only 11.4 lbs achieving an energy density of 145Wh/kg. Standard 50A and 100A models are also available.
The SLiC module is the core of the SLiC family. Custom mechanical and electrical configurations including an integrated CellSpy advanced battery management system are available.
Basic SLiC pricing is $800/kWh in 1000 pcs and is available now.
